As you’ve probably seen, I pinned lots of Christmas crafts tutorials on my PINTEREST. One tutorial that I really wanted to make was the salt dough ornaments. I am not very good with oven though, and since I’d like to make these with my kids, I chose to use DAS air-dry modelling clay instead. This is our main Christmas project this year and we had so much fun making them. So I thought I’d share it with you all : )
You will need : modelling clay, stamps, cookie cutter, sand paper, drinking straw, rolling pin, glue, glitter, ribbon and bells (optional).
1. roll it out 2. stamp 3. cut the shape using cookie cutter 4. use drinking straw to make a hole 5. let them dry 6. sand the edges 7.apply glue 8. dip into glitters 9&10 done!
We made around 50 of them and put them inside the Christmas cards for their little friends and teachers.
You can also use them as gift tags :
Let me know if you are making them, I’d love to see what you come up with!
